Evanston Glass & Mirror Ltd

The customer service experience here was TERRIBLE. I ordered a piece of glass that I needed for a coffee table. The order taker said it would take 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and called the store. The order taker sounded like a deer in the headlights and had no idea if the order had been placed. He said he would look for it and call me back. He never did. A few days later I called again and he still had no idea where the order was or if it had been placed. Again, he said he would look for it and call me back. He never did. It's now going on 4 weeks, so I went into the store to check on the status. One of the owners was there (Luis). He promised to have the order done "soon". We'll see! I don't have any confidence in this shop and I will probably have to seek a refund. A request for payment in FULL was needed at the time the ordered was placed. They got their money, but I feel that fulfilling the order is no longer their priority or concern. Frustrated... I've spent way too much time and energy on this. If you are seeking a business that is efficient, organized and can fulfill orders as promised, this shop is not for you. Find another store.

They not only did stunning repair work on my Art Nouveau mirror, but also carried it out and helped load it into the car. The service was above and beyond.

I've been using Evanston Glass and Mirror for the past 15 years, and they recently helped me replace the glass in a storm window for my three seasons room. Their service continues to be exceptional, just as it has been throughout our long business relationship. What sets them apart is how easy they are to work with. They handle everything professionally and efficiently, making what could be a stressful home repair completely hassle-free. Their team knows exactly what they're doing when it comes to storm windows, and their expertise shows in the quality of their work. After 15 years of working with them, I can confidently say that Evanston Glass and Mirror remains my go-to choice for any glass work. Whether you need a simple repair or a more complex installation, they're the kind of reliable, professional business that's becoming increasingly rare to find these days. 5/5 stars - Highly recommended for any glass repair or replacement needs.

Great service experience. Was able to get a pretty quick appointment to repair glass pane on porch window. Got multiple text reminders of appointment and text and phone call when technician was running 20 mins late. Beautiful job of glass replacement and glazing by Caesar, done in one hour. He was friendly and professional. Easy billing and payment through their app, with a very fair price.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I just can't say enough good things about this place, they were amazing responded on time. All other vendors were giving me way too high estimates for a glass replacement. Evanston glass gave a me a great estimate and they were able to come in 2 days and fix the glass the same day. Carlos was the handyman and he did a great job.
